CITY OF HOPE, STREETS OF JOY: NEWCASTLE PRIDE BRINGS MORE THAN 50,000 PEOPLE TOGETHER IN CELEBRATION AND SOLIDARITY
MORE than 50,000 people came together in the heart of Newcastle for a joyful weekend of celebration and solidarity as Newcastle Pride returned on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th July.
Marking the first Newcastle Pride festival delivered by Curious Arts, this year’s celebrations brought the theme of City of Hope, Streets of Joy to life through a citywide programme of live entertainment, community spaces, creative activities and events championing LGBTQIA+ culture and talent.
