North East, family-friendly event celebrating the LGBTQ+ community is planned to return to Newcastle’s Ouseburn Valley on Sunday 18 September.

About the event
Ouseburn Family Pride was held for the first time in 2021 where more than 4000 attendees visited the one-day event.
And now the event – sponsored by Byker-headquartered tech consultancy Opencast – will be running once again, on Sunday 18 September, with many of the Ouseburn Valley’s most popular attractions taking part.
Organisers Northern Pride – which hosted July’s highly successful UK Pride at the city’s Town Moor attended by thousands of people – is working with local venues, charities and pubs to create a range of activities, including arts, live music, drag performances and storytelling.
