PARTICIPATING VENUES
With our ambition to be unapologetically visible across the city, we’d love more venues, community groups and business to get involved. You might be a restaurant, bar, library, community centre or cultural venue looking to engage with the LGBTQIA+ community, we can help.
Registering your venue, or event, you’ll be provided with our official marketing assets, added to our website, mobile app, and be provided with advertising space within our pride guide plus many more ways in which we can work together to increase visibility and community engagement.

There are many ways in which you could take part. From running a Pride themed event or celebration, to programming queer artists and performers (we can help with this!). You could include Pride specials on your menu, and include offers or discounts for those wearing our official Pride in the City wristbands!
WHATS INCLUDED

We're excited that you're exploring the option to become a participating venue for our first ever Pride in the City. Included in your participation fee are the following benefits:

Inclusion on the Northern Pride, Newcastle Pride webpage

Inclusion on the Newcastle Pride mobile app / map location

Marketing material to use in the venue, including posters, flyers, window stickers and much more

Social media promotion

Promotion of wristband offers at point of purchase (not essential but preferred)

Inclusion on email marketing on the run up to the festival

Support in programming entertainment via our Take Part promotion (artist fees not included)

Two free places on our Proud Allies Training course (this is a requirement unless you've already taken part)

Support in creating Safer Spaces and Trans Inclusion policies (this is a requirement unless they are already in place)
