Sing, Swim & Celebrate: Pride Fringe Welcomes Queer Planet, Out to Swim & More

As Pride weekend gets closer, Newcastle is already buzzing with events celebrating queer culture, creativity, and connection. Pride Fringe 2025 is officially underway, and the next ten days offer a packed line-up of must-see moments across the city.

Here’s what you can expect:

🌍 Queer Planet

📅 Thursday 3 July 2025

🕢 19:30 – 21:00

📍 Alphabetti Theatre, St James' Blvd, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 4HP

Award-winning drag king and London’s loveable nature boy, Bi-Curious George, invites you into a raucous, joy-fuelled celebration of queerness and the animal kingdom. Expect camp creatures, wild facts, and unapologetic queer energy in a show that’s as informative as it is unhinged. Presented in partnership with Curious Arts, Queer Planet is where natural history meets drag cabaret, and absolutely no one’s playing it straight.

🎶 Northern Proud Voices – Cathedral Concert

📅 Friday 4 July 2025

🕖 19:00 – 20:30

📍 Newcastle Cathedral, St. Nicholas Sq, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 1PF

Join us for an uplifting evening of music in one of the city’s most iconic venues. Northern Proud Voices, the North East’s largest and longest-running LGBTQIA+ choir, will perform a powerful setlist of pop and rock hits — all delivered with heart, harmony, and Pride.

Good evening everyone from the UK, I was on a train between Leeds and Sheffield when I started reading comments in an online discussion thread about various entertainment platforms. I don’t usually follow these topics, but curiosity made me continue later at home. That is when I opened wild west wins just to understand how it is built. I wasn’t focused on features, only on how information is arranged and how easy it is to move between sections. I clicked through several pages to check consistency. The experience was simple and predictable, without confusing elements, and it gave me a clear idea of how the interface is structured.

Good evening. I found this site after reading comments in a UK thread about online entertainment platforms and how people switch between them for casual browsing. I decided to take a quick look to understand the structure. The layout is easy to follow, and pages load without delays, which makes navigation smooth. While going through sections I visited Spicy Jackpots in the middle of exploring the interface. Everything looked organised in a clear way, and it was simple to understand where different sections are located.

Wow, the Queer Planet event on July 3rd sounds wild, combining natural history with drag cabaret – who knew learning could be so unhinged? I mean, diving into Pride weekend with Out to Swim and free coaching, that’s such a neat idea, makes me want to grab my 7a0 goggles and jump in.

This Pride Fringe lineup sounds amazing! I love that there's so much music and celebration. If you're planning to sing along, a Vocal range test could help you find your perfect pitch before the festivities.
